Firefighters tackled a ferocious fire at an Ayrshire retail park last night.
One crew was alerted to a blaze outside Pets at Home and The Range in Kilmarnock just after 7pm.
The inferno at the rear of the Queen's Drive shops was reportedly a pile of rubbish, according to officials.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.05pm on Sunday, August 29 to reports of a fire at the rear of a commercial property on Queen’s Drive, Kilmarnock.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance and firefighters extinguished rubbish on fire.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
