Ferne McCann says she has 'huge mum' guilt as she leaves Sunday to work

Ferne McCann has expressed her feeling of "mum guilt" after she left Sunday to go to work on the other side of the country.

The former TOWIE star, 29, took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to reveal she was travelling back from Preston in the north to her home in Essex just to make her two-year-old daughter's swimming lesson.

Filming herself in the back of a car on the way to catch a train, Ferne said: "Shout out to all of the working mums out there this Wednesday morning.

"I am in a game of tug and war - do I want to be away from Sunday? Absolutely no."

Ferne said she has to work but is grateful that it keeps her "sane-minded".

She continued: "I experience such a huge deal of mum guilt but do I want to work? Yes I don't have a choice, but yes it keeps me sane-minded as well.

"So I am getting a super early train back from Preston to make her swimming lesson."

Ferne captioned the video: "Woprking mums. Sole providers. Working your t*ts off to provide.

"The pang of mum guilt is REAL! You're doing your best."

The next story she posted was a video of Sunday dancing in her swimming costume, showing that she'd made it back in time.

Ferne shares Sunday with her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins, who is serving a jail sentence for his involvement in an acid attack in a nightclub.

It was recently announced that Ferne's series First Time Mum will return for a fifth series in the spring.

The next instalment will see the mum and daughter duo move home as Ferne continues to look for love.

Recently opening up about being a single mum, Ferne told MailOnline : "I think for me, my only experience as a mother is a single parent, so I don't know any different.

"But as a parent whether you're a single mother or a mum of three, whatever parent you are, every stage has a new challenge."
