Ferne McCann says it's 'strange but wonderful' to be living with new boyfriend Jack

Ferne McCann confirmed she is spending the third lockdown with her new boyfriend Jack Padgett.

Appearing on Wednesday's edition of Loose Women, the former Towie star revealed she is now living with the model - who she met last year.

The 30 year old was on the ITV show to discuss her appearance on Celebrity Best Home Cook, when the conversation turned to romance.

Brenda Edwards was keen to ask Ferne about her new boyfriend, which is when the mum-of-one revealed they are now living under one roof.

"We decided to do lockdown together, which is a really big deal for me ladies!" Ferne told the panel.

"I did lockdown one as a single woman, and now I’m living with a guy! It's strange and wonderful and new all at the same time."

Ruth Langsford was quick to comment that Jack is a "lucky man" to be living with Ferne and her cooking skills.

Ferne, who started dating Jack last year, recently told The Mirror she’s the happiest she’s been in a while.

Speaking about the romance, she said: "It’s very early days. We’ll see how it goes.

"I've done a lot of self-work to get myself mentally strong and right now, I feel happy and content."

She added: "Food is the way to my heart. If a man wants to impress me, a perfect date would be going to have food with someone."

Ferne also revealed how cooking has been "therapy" for her after a tough few years which saw her ex Arthur Collins – the father of her three-year-old daughter Sunday – jailed for an acid attack.

“Cooking is emotional for me,” says Ferne. “It has been my therapy. It calms me.

“When I’ve had a bad day, I pour myself some vino, listen to some jazz and get my cook on.”
