Ferne McCann constantly wets herself after childbirth left her with prolapsed bladder

Ferne McCann was left with a constantly leaking bladder after childbirth left her with a prolapse - robbing her of her dating life and even her workouts.

The former TOWIE star, who gave birth to daughter Sunday in October 2017, found her pelvic muscles were weakened during pregnancy, when even a sneeze could trigger a trickle.

Now 29, the mum of one has had to stop working out at the gym because any strenuous activity could result in an accident.

"There was a lot of leaking and I was wetting myself all the time. It has shattered my confidence and made me scared to leave the house. Being worried you'll wet yourself at any moment does that to you," she told OK! magazine.

"It got to the point where I didn't even want to drink water because I thought I'd immediately have an accident."

Ferne didn't even feel confident enough to go on dates, just in case it happened during an intimate moment.

"I haven't wanted to go out for dinner with a man and then be constantly asking to go to the toilet. I've avoided going on dates completely if I’m honest," she went on.

Ferne saw a physiotherapist who diagnosed a stage one prolapsed bladder, which can be treated with an eight-week programme of Kegel exercises, and is now feeling much more positive.

"Even the thought of getting naked in front of someone is a scary thought. I now need to be with someone who I can fully trust. I do want it all now – I'm ready to settle down," she continued.

"I definitely would love to have another baby. When I first had Sunday people were obsessed with asking if I’d like to have more, and I couldn't even think about it but I know now that I 100 per cent would like to have more children.

"I'd love to get married, especially after watching Billie marry Greg in the Maldives," she added.
