Ferne McCann confirms pregnancy as she and fiancé Lorri Haines talk baby names

Ferne McCann has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child following rumours she is expecting.

Former The Only Is Essex star Ferne, 32, confirmed she and Lorri are expecting as they posed in a glamorous photoshoot.

Ferne is already a proud mum to daughter Sunday, from her relationship with ex Arthur Collins, while Lorri also has a son, Noah, from a previous relationship.

Earlier this year it was reported the pair were set to welcome their first child together, a year after meeting and falling in love.

But the couple kept quiet on the news until now.

Ferne revealed she and Lorri found out they were expecting after a romantic trip to India.

"I knew I was pregnant – I just knew. All the tell-tale signs were there. I missed a period and I couldn’t even touch my boobs because they were so painful," she told OK! magazine.

After returning from the trip, Ferne took a test.

Ferne, who found herself caught up in a voice note scandal last year, recalled: "I just sat on the toilet with the door open and was like, ‘I knew it! It’s positive!’ It wasn’t this romantic, tears streaming-down-my-face thing. We were so happy. It wasn’t planned, but it wasn’t not planned. For us both being parents, they’re little miracles and it was such a positive moment and something to look forward to for us."

While Lorri added: "I was over the moon – I couldn’t believe it!

"I was like, ‘Give me the stick,’ and then I went and got another one. We jumped around in the hallway."

The couple kept the news underwraps, but it wasn't long before the story was leaked.

Sharing her frustration, Ferne said: "It’s always super annoying when something gets out there, but I experienced that with Sunday and I just didn’t want to have the same reaction.

"It’s still speculation until you’ve heard it from the horse’s mouth. Doing this shoot is our celebration."

Ferne and her fiancé Lorri have decided not to find out the gender of their unborn baby but have discussed baby names.

The soon-to-be mum-of-two joked Lorri is "bringing nothing to the table" when it comes to monikers.

Lorri then joked: "We were thinking about Wednesday or Thursday."

Ferne added: "We can’t have your average top 10 in the UK names.

"I love unusual, but not weird. I’m firing some names at Lorri and he’s like, ‘No, no.’ Sunday comes up with some really good names actually. I said, ‘What about if Mummy has a boy?’ And she said, ‘What about Jonathan?’ I really just want to include the children as much as possible, if they can have an input."

The happy news comes after Ferne found herself caught up in a voice note scandal last year.

Reality star Ferne, who also has her own reality show Ferne McCann First Time Mum, was accused of launching a 'vile' attack on her pals Billie and Sam Faiers in a string of reported 'leaked' voice notes.

Weeks later, more voice notes shared by an anonymous Instagram page, alleged Ferne hit out at one of her jailed ex Arthur Collins' acid attack victim, Sophie Hall.

The voice notes were shared by an anonymous Instagram account who claimed they were by the former TOWIE star.

In response to the allegations, Ferne apologised and said the voice notes had been heavily edited in a way to try to sabotage her reputation.

The new series of Ferne McCann: First Time Mum is available on ITVBe and ITVX on 15 March at 9pm
