Fern Britton has remained in touch with her ex-husband Phil Vickery, she's admitted.
Earlier this year, their split sent shockwaves through the showbiz circuit after they had been married for 20 years.
In a new interview, Fern revealed she has kept her ex Phil in the loop as they continue to navigate co-parenting together.
Also, the author said she has been keeping an eye on the chef when he's on the television during lockdown.
Fern let slip she was aware of her ex's new book Diabetes Meal Planner: Deliciously Simple Recipes and Weekly Weight-loss Menus by Phil Vickery, which hit the shelves on June 8.
She told The Yorkshire Post : "Phil and I are in contact, in that I know what he's up to. I see what he’s doing, I watch him on television, I know he's got his book coming out.
"We have to have contact over certain agreements and at the moment it's better to keep it like that, until everything is sorted. The girls miss him and I've told them that when lockdown's over, I'm expecting them to get on with life and see both dads."
Although she was devastated their marriage ended, the presenter insisted the exes parted on good terms.
She added: "My marriage ended on as good terms as you can in that situation."
Fern and Phil were married in 2000 but they went their separate ways in 2020.
The couple have one grown up daughter together, Winnie, who recently turned 18.
Fern also has three children - Harry, 26, Jack, 26, and Grace, 23 - from her first marriage to Clive Jones.
