Fermanagh manager Ryan McMenamin steps down after two years in charge

Ryan McMenamin has stepped down as manager of the Fermanagh senior football team.

The Tyrone All-Ireland winner has cut short his time with the county after two seasons at the helm.

Under McMenamin, Fermanagh missed out on promotion to Division Two this season, and lost both their Championship games since he took over.

His reign has largely been interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the GAA employing a knockout All-Ireland championship and condensed league campaigns during his time in the hot seat.

McMenamin took over from Rory Gallagher in Auggust 2019 after previously serving as his assistant.
