Night owls will now be able to avail of the new and popular hydrobikes on offer from Erne Adventures in Enniskillen.
The new leisure activity in Co Fermanagh, which first launched in June, will now open up as the night gets shorter with the bikes having new lighting systems installed.
Jonathan Bradshaw of Erne Adventures said it is a great way to see the town of Enniskillen lit up at night.
Jonathan told MyFermanagh: “We were just driving through one day and we saw the lights of the Enniskillen Castle and along the Queen Elizabeth Road there, and we thought wouldn’t it be nice to have something where you could go and see that at night.
“We looked about then and managed to get lights fitted on to the bikes so we launched it there on Monday.
“They are proving very popular so far. We had hoped to launch it a wee bit earlier but it never really got dark enough in the evenings.
“As the evenings get shorter and shorter we hope that it will appeal to people over the autumn and winter.
“I don’t think there’s anything else like it. There’s a very few night time activities like that for people to do.
“I think it appeals to people who can go out and do something like this and then head on into the town and get something to eat.
“The beauty of it is you don’t get wet so people are able to do that.”
