Fermanagh GAA warn message circulating is not proposal from county's Competitions Control Committee

Fermanagh GAA have warned that a message being circulated is not a proposal from the county's Competitions Control Committee.

The message relates to proposals for a 2020 senior league competition.

They posted on Twitter: "Please be advised that a message currently circulating with proposals for a 2020 senior league competition are not a proposal from the Fermanagh Competitions Control Committee.

"The Fermanagh Competitions Control Committee, having considered the recent publication by the GAA of the Safe Return to Gaelic Games Plan, will meet soon to begin planning for club competitions within Fermanagh.

"All decisions will be taken in line with guidance from the GAA, to make the most of any available window to maximise the number of games and to allow adequate preparation for our county teams, all the while striving to keep everyone safe.

"Further details will be circulated (using the official channels) as soon as any proposals for competition structure and timings have been developed."
