Rangers-linked Davide Ancelotti on how he wants to manage and style of play
He has spearheaded a mixed run of results and secured his first home win in charge at the weekend, as his team put four past Aberdeen.
It doesn't look like Ferguson will remain in his post after this weekend's visit to Hibernian. Several names have been linked with the permanent job, with Ancelotti's emerging in the past 24 hours.
Ferguson addressed the links in his press conference ahead of Rangers' game against Dundee United tomorrow evening: "I don't know anything about him, if I'm being honest," he said.
"I know he's assistant to his dad and his dad is one of the best managers. There's always going to be speculation, there's been speculation since I've come in.
"I've no issue with that, that's just the way it operates up here in the west of Scotland. All I can do is just focus on me doing the job as best as I can, and we'll see where it takes us."
Tomorrow's match is Ferguson's last in charge of Rangers at Ibrox.
He ends his brief stint at the helm with a trip to face third-place-chasing Hibs at Easter Road this Saturday. The 47-year-old has a 30 per cent win ratio so far.
