A difficult start to the season saw Ferguslie lose three matches to Dumfries, West of Scotland and local rivals Kelburne.

But after a sensational run of 10 wins on the spin, they headed into the Prestwick clash knowing one more victory would hand them the league trophy.

Determined from the start, the Paisley side they bowled superbly to limit the visitors to 157/7 in their 50 overs.

Ferguslie's David Stafford then produced an inspired batting display, notching an incredible 81 on the day.

Elliot Moses grabbed an impressive 57, with Mohammad Ghaffar completing the scoring with 13 as the Paisley side reached their 158 target in just 33.2 overs.

That sparked huge celebrations from the impressive crowd in attendance, with the club's successful players lifting the trophy in superb style.
