Fenwick has introduced a festive delivery service which allows customers in Newcastle to book the department store's 'Elf Mobile' to deliver gifts to loved ones.
Santa's helpers can be booked to bring surprise treats and gifts to friends and relatives' homes, all delivered on the three-wheeled Christmas-themed Elf Mobile.
Kieran McBride, store director at Fenwick Newcastle, said: “Following our magical ‘Wind in the Willows’ Christmas Window virtual unveil on Sunday evening, we’re delighted to launch our very special Elf Mobile delivery service to North East shoppers.
"We hope this new offering will allow customers to surprise family and friends and bring an extra piece of Christmas cheer to their homes this festive season.”
The Elf Mobile will deliver orders worth more than £50 in and around Newcastle city centre (it can not travel on motorways or dual carriageways).
Fenwick says: "Whether it’s tantalising tipples such as Fenwick’s English Sparkling Wine, delectable nibbles, luxurious Christmas hampers or fresh bouquets, add some festive cheer to gift-giving this Christmas by surprising loved ones with a special visit from the magical Fenwick Elf Mobile."
Bookings can be made online via elfmobile@fenwick.co.uk or in the Fenwick Food Hall, which is still open during the lockdown.
