A female has been left with facial abrasions after being assaulted by three teenage girls on an afternoon train.
The incident occurred on a service from Milngavie to Westerton on August 15 at around 4.40pm, with the three teenagers leaving the train at Westerton.
The victim is believed to have sustained abrasions to her face during the attack. However she has still not come forward to talk to police following the incident.
British Transport Police are now appealing for the victim to get in touch to assist the investigation. They have also called for any members of the public with information about the incident to contact them.
