Female pedestrian and dog left with serious injuries after crash

Police are calling for witnesses after a crash left a pedestrian and her dog with serious injuries.

At around 4.40pm on Sunday, September 22, a 61-year-old woman was walking along Heage Road in Ripley when she was in collision with a black Mitsubishi L200.

She suffered a fractured pelvis and bruising while her dog needed stitches for a lacerated shoulder.

The collision happened close to Heage Industrial Estate.
