On Sunday morning, a horrifying incident unfolded on a New York City subway train, resulting in the death of a female passenger. According to police reports, around 7:30 a.m., a man believed to be between 25 to 30 years old approached the victim on the F train and intentionally set her on fire before fleeing the scene.
Police officers on a routine patrol at the Stillwell Avenue subway station discovered the victim engulfed in flames inside a subway car. Despite their efforts to extinguish the fire, the victim succumbed to her injuries. The authorities have classified this tragic event as a homicide and are actively searching for the suspect, described as a male approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall.
