A female motorcyclist remains in a critical condition in hospital following a crash in Weston-super-Mare in which a man died.
The crash happened on Broadway in the seaside resort just before 10am on Wednesday, December 9.
The driver of the car died as a result of his injuries and the female motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have confirmed that the motorcyclist remains in hospital in a "critical but stable" condition.
The crash saw the road - a busy route to the town’s hospital - closed for several hours while crash investigators carried out their inquiries.
