A female Killing Eve-style assassin and a male accomplice have been arrested following the murder of two Israelis in Mexico.
The victims - one of whom had escaped from an Israeli prison while serving time for attempted murder - were shot dead as they ate at an upmarket restaurant in a shopping centre in the Álvaro Obregón district of Mexico City.
As they ate, a man and a woman approached them and started shooting with pistols.
One victim died at the scene, while the other died in hospital a short time later, Mexico News Daily reports.
The shooting happened in front of horrified customers shortly after 5.20pm on Wednesday.

A further two people - including a police officer - were shot as the assassins attempted to escape.
Although the man got away, a woman - identified as Esperanza N - was arrested outside the building.
A blond wig and change of clothes were found, police said.
The suspect told police she was taking revenge after one of the victims was unfaithful to her, prompting her to buy a handgun.

But Public Security Secretary Jesús Orta described Esperanza’s story as “unsustainable.”
He said: “The version of a crime of passion was the first story that the woman told the police.
“However, as more investigation has been done, that narrative is not sustainable because of several pieces of evidence we have found.”
The victims have been identified as Ben Sutji, who fled to Latin America after escaping from prison in 2001, and Alon Azulay.
