Female cyclist claims she needs to be constantly naked as clothes make her 'anxious'

In the morning, the majority of us wake up, have a shower and then get dressed.

Not Sadie Tann though, as she claims that clothes make her 'anxious', so she spends the majority of her time in the nude with her boyfriend.

The 32-year-old and partner Collin are both passionate about naturism and walk around wearing their birthday suits.

The unusual choice has long been part of Sadie’s lifestyle, dating all the way back to her childhood.

Sadie said: "I have always loved the feeling of being undressed, I prefer being naked as I feel so much more comfortable that way. I feel free and full of joy.

"Wearing clothes feels like putting on a costume and none of them feel like 'me'.

"Clothes feel like putting on layers of expectations and pressures of modern life, they feel like putting on layers of anxiety. Being naked for me is a relief from those anxieties and I feel completely in my element. My social anxiety almost ceases to exist.

"It has become more and more apparent over the years that I need to have this time for my wellbeing."

Sadie also forages wild foods and goes wild camping - one day she hopes to become an ecologist to help the planet.

Recently, Sadie was out riding for charity on 4 July with Collin when she claims a car drove into them, knocking them both on the floor – which Sadie believes was deliberate.

After the shocking incident, they were "reluctant" to strip off on their bikes and continue the journey – but are now urging others not to let people's prejudices keep them from living life on their terms.

She said: "This is what makes us feel free and we will live our lives true to ourselves."

Their passion for nature is what inspired the couple to start the nude charity bike ride.

She said: "We want to help restore natural environments which is why we chose Rewild Britain as one of our charities.

“We also chose the charity Mind as we want to help others with challenges having been able to get to a point of managing our own.

"We believe these things are all intertwined, more natural spaces equals better mental health."

She also suggests following what helps you find freedom and peace. She said: "Whether it's shedding clothes or something else.

"Do what makes you, you."
