Female companion wanted by 40-year-old virgin to help birthday celebrations go with a bang

A 40-year-old virgin who has never had a girlfriend is searching for the perfect female companion to ensure his birthday celebrations go with a bang.

George Handley has been single for many years and says he wants nothing more than to settle down, reports Derbyshire Live.

He suffers with Asperger syndrome, social anxiety and depression and feels these factors have diminished his chances of finding the one.

Mr Handley recently won the Derby Telegraph's letter of the week competition and received a luxury afternoon tea for two - but he feels he is unable to claim his prize as he has no one to go with.

Mr Handley, who lives in Arnold, Nottingham, said he has never had a loving relationship as he has "never been given the chance".

Now he is hoping he can find someone to enjoy his date with.

He said: "I have had little opportunities in having relationships. I want what other people take for granted.

"I have tried everything to meet people but my depression and social anxiety has not really helped. It's been so hard to tell people in case it puts them off.

"I would like to have a family of my own. It's very difficult to find the right person.

"I would like someone to go on a trip with to Bournemouth for my birthday.

"I am looking for someone who is a bit younger as I am trying to catch up with a lot of things."
