Felton Davis III to be Michigan State Football honorary captain for Penn State game

Michigan State defense coordinator Mike Tressel filled in for Mark Dantonio on Dantonio’s weekly radio show and gave fans an interesting nugget: former MSU star wide receiver Felton Davis III will be an honorary captain for tomorrow’s big match-up against Penn State.

Davis, of course, absolutely crushed Penn State last year, scoring two touchdowns and netting 100 yards, including a last second game-winning touchdown reception, so it will be awesome to see him at the game tomorrow.

Davis, signed as an undrafted free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs, has spent the season on Injured Reserve, still recovering from the injury he suffered in the game that followed last year’s Penn State win against Michigan.
