Felipe Anderson is showing his class... and his English is better, says Mark Noble

Felipe Anderson is, without doubt, one of the in-form players in the Premier League right now.

He’s scored five goals in six games, created a lot of chances for others and is starting to look like the special player we all hoped he would be when we signed him.

In some ways, he is an untypical playmaker from Brazil. He doesn’t go in for a lot of flicks and tricks and he would rather thread a pass through to a team-mate in a crowded penalty area than try to dribble around three defenders.

He has played just 16 games in the Premier League but you can see he’s getting used to the pace and physicality of it all.

He’s also picking up a few English phrases.

In training, this week, we were doing a keep-ball session and he suddenly shouted: “Keep it there!” We all stopped, looked at him — and laughed.
