Felipe Anderson completes FC Porto loan move with West Ham now likely to target Said Benrahma

West Ham midfielder Felipe Anderson has completed a loan switch to FC Porto.

The Brazilian moves to the Estadio do Dragao for the remainder of the 2020/21 season after the reigning Primeira Liga champions - who have also loaned Marko Grujic from Liverpool and Chelsea defender Malang Sarr - sealed an agreement before the Portuguese transfer window closes at midnight on Tuesday.

Anderson became a key figure for West Ham after joining from Lazio in a then club-record £35million deal in 2018, scoring 12 goals and registering as many assists in 72 appearances across all competitions.

However, he had fallen down the attacking pecking order at London Stadium under David Moyes, with his only starts so far this term coming in Carabao Cup matches against Charlton, Hull and Everton.

Standard Sport's Jack Rosser understands that West Ham are likely to target Brentford star Said Benrahma as a replacement for Anderson, who could make his Porto debut against Sporting Lisbon on Sunday.

With the domestic transfer window in England open until 5pm on October 16, the Hammers are also looking at Watford's Craig Dawson as they seek to bolster their defensive ranks following Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori's decision to snub a loan switch across the capital late on international deadline day.
