Felicity Huffman has pleaded guilty to charges related to the US college admissions scandal.
The Desperate Housewives actress, 56, admitted one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud at a court in Boston today.
Telly star Huffman was accused of paying a $15,000 bribe to boost her daughter’s SAT score to get her into an elite college.
She previously confirmed her intention to enter a guilty plea after striking a deal with prosecutors - and today it was made official.
Back in April, she said: "I am pleading guilty to the charge brought against me by the United States Attorney's Office.
"I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done.

"I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.
"I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community.
"I want to apologise to them and, especially, I want to apologise to the students who work hard every day to get into college...

"And to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly."
She is among 12 other parents and a coach who have decided to plead guilty to charges in what has been dubbed Operation Varsity Blues.
Huffman is expected to be sentenced in the next few weeks.
Prosecutors have reportedly recommended she spend several months in prison.
