Olly Murs and James Corden were among a slew of celebrities who paid tribute to Louis Tomlinson’s sister in the wake of her death, aged 18.

Félicité Tomlinson died at her home in London after suffering a suspected heart attack on Wednesday afternoon.

The Instagram star reportedly collapsed at her apartment in Earl’s Court. Her death is being treated as "unexplained”.

Louis’ celebrity friends reached out, with Murs describing her death as “absolutely heartbreaking” while Corden told him: “So many people are pulling for you and your family right now x.”

Fellow singer Charlie Puth wrote: “Prayers to Louis Tomlinson. I can’t imagine how hard it is right now. Love to you brother I’m so sorry and my prayers are with you.”

Former boyband star Brian McFadden posted: “This is so sad. This boy has had it tough x.”

The news comes after his mother, Johannah Deakin, died of leukaemia aged 43 in 2016.

He recently dropped his new track Two Of Us which draws upon his experiences of grief and bereavement.

Speaking about the song, he told House of Solo: “I just feel like, musically, I almost needed to get this song off my chest.

“People say writing is a part of therapy. In a way, I feel like I’d been avoiding writing this song because I knew I only had one chance to get it right.

“I don’t mean to be too soppy but if Two of Us can help just one other person who’s going through the tough time I went through, that would make me really happy.”

He was scheduled to perform it for the first time on TV tonight during the Comic Relief telethon but has reportedly pulled out after being left “devastated and distraught” by his sister’s death, according to The Sun.

Standard Online has contacted representatives of the singer for comment.

Félicité was pronounced dead at the scene after Police and the London Ambulance Service rushed to her home just before 1pm.

In a statement, Scotland Yard said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 12.52 on Wednesday, March 13 to a residential address... following reports of a female in cardiac arrest.

“A female believed to be aged 18 was pronounced dead at the scene.

“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.”
