Reggaeton artist Feid and Mexican music pioneer Peso Pluma lead the nominations at the upcoming Latin American Music Awards, as announced by Univision. Both artists have received 12 nominations each, closely followed by Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera with 11 nominations each. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Thalia, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 25.

Feid and Peso Pluma will compete in various categories such as artist of the year, song of the year, album of the year, and collaboration of the year. Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera are also prominent nominees with eleven recognitions each, while Karol G and Shakira have received nine nominations each. Eslabon Armado and Fuerza Regida follow closely with eight nominations.

The nominations were determined based on fan interactions through streaming, sales, radio broadcasts, tours, and social media data provided by Billboard and Luminate during the eligibility period from Feb. 11, 2023, to Feb. 24, 2024. Fans have until April 1 to cast their votes online.

The 2023 Latin American Music Awards saw Karol G emerge as the biggest winner for the second consecutive year. The show featured exciting collaborations, including the debut performance of Peso Pluma and Becky G's 'Chanel.' The performers for the 2024 edition have not been disclosed yet.

The Latin American Music Awards will be broadcast live on Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión for the second year in a row. Additionally, the show will be available on ViX, a leading Spanish-language streaming service, for the first time.

The nominations span across 27 categories, encompassing various musical genres such as pop, urban, música Mexicana, and tropical. The awards will recognize a total of 76 nominees, showcasing the diversity and talent within the Latin music industry.
