This husband certainly knows where he stands.
But in 2019 is the spouse who stood in an aeroplane for six hours, to let his wife sleep, perceived as a saint or a sucker?
A woman posted a photo of the gallant act online, reports the Mirror.
Feelings are mixed between people who thought it was a selfless, lovely thing to do, to others who were less impressed.
One commenter said: "If that is love then I rather be lonely."
Another remarked: ""That's not love, his wife is selfish and he is weak."
One woman said: "Sounds like that Rose and Jack situation from titanic. So silly.'
And a cynical respondent posted: "Lie. They don’t let you stand in the aisle for 5 minutes, let alone 6 hours. Come on man."
Perhaps we will never know what the person stands for.
It could well have been a massive act of kindness which makes this considerate chap a hero and certainly not a zero.
And with pretty good stamina, too.
