A federal judge in Oregon said Tuesday night he will block the Trump administration's moves to bar family planning clinics funded by the federal Title X program from making abortion referrals, The Oregonian first reported.

Details: U.S. District Judge Michael McShane, appointed by former President Obama, granted a preliminary injunction in a lawsuit Planned Parenthood and the American Medical Association filed against the Trump administration's action.

The big picture: Oregon is one of 20 states and the District of Columbia, plus Planned Parenthood and the American Medical Association challenging the Title X overhaul.
