A new database called 'Funding Insanity' has revealed that the Biden administration distributed over $174 million in grants and contracts to support gender ideology initiatives. These initiatives include studying menstrual cycles in transgender men and promoting LGBTQ rights in the Western Balkans.

The American Principles Project, a conservative nonprofit, highlighted various projects funded by the federal government to advance left-wing gender ideology both domestically and internationally.

One significant grant of $1,929,783 from the U.S. Agency for International Development aimed to protect LGBTQI+ individuals in the Western Balkans by strengthening human rights and democracy. Another grant of $600,000 was allocated to study menstrual cycles, including in transgender men and nonbinary individuals.

The Department of Agriculture also provided funds for gender-related projects, such as supporting gender diversity in forestry services and promoting women's empowerment through theater productions like 'The Vagina Monologues.'

Additionally, grants were given to organizations in countries like Bangladesh and Nepal to support gender diverse communities and provide English training to transgender women makeup entrepreneurs.

The American Principles Project criticized the use of taxpayer funds for these initiatives, calling it a misuse of public money. They emphasized the need to redirect government spending towards projects that benefit all Americans.

Efforts to scrutinize federal spending and combat corruption have been led by figures like Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has also emphasized the importance of aligning foreign aid policies with 'America First' principles.

While Democrat lawmakers have raised concerns about the Trump administration's approach to federal agencies like USAID, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed accusations of corruption and violence incitement, stating that the focus is on improving government efficiency and accountability.
