'Feart' Glasgow challenged to game of dodgeball by Edinburgh club

Glasgow, it's time to channel Patches O'Houlihan, Steve the Pirate, Peter "Pete" LaFleur and co and get our game faces on.

Why? Well because an Edinburgh (cough) Dodgeball team has challenged our city to a game on our very own patch.

It appears that they haven't been able to find a team to play in the city - and have arrogantly suggested it may be because Glaswegians might be 'feart' of getting hit by a few balls. Little do they know we are baw-daft...

The team are making the pilgrimage along the M8 to the far superior city as part of an open challenge for players to turn up, form a team and whoop their bahookies.

They tweeted: "Here Glasgow - you don’t play Dodgeball ? How no? FEART of getting hit by a few balls are ye? Why not prove us wrong by coming along this Thursday @ Kevin Hall?"

The Dodgeball Glasgow event takes place at the Kelvin Hall in the west end on Thursday (October 21) at 7pm.

Let's go Glasgow, let's dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge these bandits back to Auld Reekie!
