Could Turkey become the latest tourism spot to be added to the UK government's quarantine list?
In a potential blow to holidaymakers, The Mirror reports on suggestions that the country's rising coronavirus rate could mean a 14 day isolation period is soon required for those returning to the UK.
The country's rate of Covid-19 cases rose to their highest since June at 1,256, with 21 deaths in the last 24 hours, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca admitted on Twitter this weekend.
As it stands the country's air bridge with the UK is still in place, meaning Brits returning from Turkey do not need to isolate for two weeks.
However, the country has seen cases edge higher in recent weeks and has now recorded a total of 278,117, with 5,955 deaths.
This has led to concerns that Turkey may follow France in being added to the quarantine list by the UK government.
If it is, done travel between Britain and the southern European country would become particularly difficult.
Turkey has its own stringent measures for people arriving there, including temperature checks at the airport.
Anyone who is found to have the virus is forced to quarantine, and this could be at their own expense.
The infection rate determines whether or not Turkey will be added to the quarantine list.
Any country which has more than 20 new cases per 100,000 population is placed on the UK government's watchlist.
Currently there are 18.5 infections per 100,000 people in Turkey, The Sun reports.
This is a rise on the 15.8 recorded last month.
Turkey lifted a partial lockdown on June 1 and plans to re-open schools next month.
