Fears over missing teenager last seen at Piccadilly Station

Police say they are worried about the welfare of a missing teenager who was last seen at Manchester's Piccadilly Station.

Sophie O’Dere, 16, from Morecambe, was last sees at the train station on Monday, July 13, at 5.55pm boarding a train to London.

She has links to Leyland, Lancashire and Llandudno in north Wales as well as London.

However officers say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for her welfare and have appealed directly to her to get in touch with them and let them know she is safe.

Sophie is around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build and has brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pale blue denim jacket, a mustard colour knee length skirt and dark coloured shoes with white soles.

Sgt Ian McVety, from Lancashire Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Sophie’s welfare and I would encourage anybody who sees her or knows where she is to contact us immediately.

"I would also appeal directly to Sophie to make contact with us if she sees this appeal.”

Anyone with information on Sophie’s whereabouts is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 1068 of July 13th, 2020.
