Fears growing for missing girl, 13, last seen in her school uniform

A 13-year-old girl, who was last seen in her school uniform, has gone missing sparking huge concern.

Ellie Mae Starkey was last seen in the Woolton Road area of Wavertree, Liverpool and police say "extensive enquiries" are ongoing to find the youngster.

The teenager was seen at around 2.15pm on Friday, January 24 and was wearing her black school blazer, grey tartan skirt, black shoes and long black socks.

Officers say the 4ft 11in girl may have been seen on Sunday by a member of the public, the Liverpool Echo repots.

The sighting of Ellie Mae, who is described as of small build, suggest she may now be wearing a pink jacket and black leggings.

She is described as white, of very small build, very long, mousey straight hair and blue eyes.

She also wears glasses and has a Liverpool accent.

Anyone who knows the schoolgirl's whereabouts is urged to police on 101.
