Fears grow for man believed to have vanished to Windermere

Concerns are growing for a man that police believe may have vanished to Windermere in the Lake District.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find Gary Perry who was last seen at his home in Roby Road, Huyton on Tuesday, September 8.

The 52 year old is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall with a pale complexion, brown hair and a stocky build.

He was also last seen wearing a grey and white t-shirt, black trousers and black trainers.

He is also said to wear a crucifix.

It is believed that Gary may have travelled to the Windermere area of the Lake District.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing missing man Gary Perry.

“Gary, aged 52, was last seen at his home address in Roby Road, Huyton on Tuesday, 8 September.

“He is described as a white male, around 5ft 10in tall, with a pale complexion, brown hair and of stocky build.

“When last seen he was wearing a grey and white t-shirt, black trousers and black trainers. He also wears a crucifix.

“It is believed he may have travelled to the Windermere area of the Lake District.

“We are becoming increasingly concerned for Gary’s whereabouts and anyone with information is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or @missingpeople on 116 000.”
