Fears grow as boy, 13, walks out of back door and goes missing

Update: Merseyside Police say Leon was found safe and well and extend their thanks to those who shared the appeal to find him

A schoolboy is at the centre of an urgent police hunt after leaving his home by the back door and never returning.

Merseyside Police have now turned to the general public in the hope that they can help find 13-year-old Leon Cullen who vanished after leaving his home address late on Saturday night.

The ECHO understands Leon went missing after leaving via the back door.

Police also released a picture of Leon, who lives in Bidston, as part of the search mission.
