Two missing 11-year-old girls have been found safe and well after a police appeal.
Constantia Carr-Winterburn, of Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire, and Lillie Almond, of Dove Holes, left their home addresses to go to school this morning.
Their families have not heard from the two friends since, police said in an appeal shortly before 9pm today.
The girls, who go to the same school, were thought to be together.
Police said in a statement: "We are very concerned for their safety and we would ask you to share this appeal and to contact us if you have any information as to their whereabouts.
"Constantia in white, 5ft 4ins tall, slim and has blonde or mousey shoulder-length hair.
She left the house in her school uniform – a white shirt, a black quilted coat, black trousers and black shoes. She carried a rucksack. She is pictured here in her uniform.
"Lillie is 5ft 7ins tall, slim and has blonde hair, which was tied back this morning.
She left home wearing a black skirt, black tights, black trainers, a white polo shirt and a red coat.
She is pictured here wearing glasses."
Both girls were reported to have been found safe and well shortly after 10pm.
