Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing teenage girl with links to Manchester who disappeared in the early hours of this morning.
Sophie O’Dere, 16, from Lancashire, was last seen in the Hothersall Lane area, near Longridge, at 3.55am today (Friday).
The 16-year-old has links to Manchester and Leyland, and could be trying to travel to London - possibly via Preston Train Station.
She is described as 5ft 5ins tall, with short, black hair.
She was last seen wearing a purple top, blue jeans and sandals.
PC Becky Jones, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are becoming more and more concerned by Sophie’s welfare and would ask anybody who sees her to contact police straight away.
"Similarly, if Sophie sees this appeal then I would urge her to get in contact with us and let us know she is OK.”
