Fears are growing for a missing Edinburgh schoolgirl who didn't show up for school this morning.
Police are desperately trying to trace 13-year-old Kaitlyn Gover who was last seen at Baullie Place, near to Portobello High School, at around 8.30am on Thursday (May 27).
She was last seen wearing a red hoodie, black jeans, black trainers and she was carrying a black Nike rucksack which had white speckles on it. She has dyed purple hair.
Police are making enquiries in the Portobello area and Inspector William Falconer of Craigmillar Police Station said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Kaitlyn who failed to turn up for school.

"Officers are continuing with enquiries in the local area but I would ask anyone with information to come forward, please contact 101 quoting incident number 0756 of 27, May, 2021. “
