Fearne Cotton has said that she will leave Celebrity Juice with “incredible memories” after announcing her departure from the show after 10 years.
The 37-year-old is stepping back from her role as a panellist on the show after a decade of sitting opposite pal Holly Willoughby and being mocked in a NSFW fashion by Keith Lemon.
The presenter praised the cast as she broke her social media silence in the wake of the news to post a collage of funny pictures from the set.
Cotton wrote: “After ten years on Celebrity Juice I am leaving.
“I walk away with so many incredible memories and will miss everyone in front of and behind the cameras so much. So much love and luck to them all for future series x.”
Cotton announced her exit in a statement to The Sun, saying that it had been a “joy to be part of a magnificent show”.
Willoughby, her co-star since the beginning in 2008, paid tribute to her friend after the announcement, saying she will be missed.
Sharing a photo of a crude banana moment from the show, Willoughby wrote: “I’m going to miss you being on the other side of my banana... thank you for 10 years of laughter...
“Love you @fearnecotton ... we are going to MISS you on @celebjuiceofficial SOOO much xxxx.”
Cotton appeared in 18 of the 20 series of the ITV2 show, briefly taking time off in 2013 when she went out on maternity leave. She was temporarily replaced by Kelly Brook.
The presenter currently hosts her own podcast titled Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place – which is primarily about wellbeing – as well as presenting her own BBC Radio 2 Show on Sunday afternoons.
Cotton's replacement has not yet been named, but I’m A Celebrity star Emily Atack and model Kelly Brook, have had their names bandied about by fans.
