Fear, control, style: Jack Harrison on what to expect from Leeds United at Arsenal

Leeds United are looking forward to the challenge of facing Premier League giants Arsenal in the FA Cup, says Jack Harrison, with the squad hoping it will be an experience to remember.

The Whites resume their rivalry with the Gunners on Monday in the third round of football's oldest knockout competition, with the two sides meeting for the first time since 2012.

An added current of intrigue hinges on whether ex-United loanee Eddie Nketiah could be reunited with his former club after Mikel Arteta's team recalled him earlier this week halfway through his season-long spell at Elland Road.

Speaking after Leeds earned a hard-fought point against Championship title rivals West Bromwich Albion on New Year's Day however, Harrison hinted that Marcelo Bielsa and his men were relishing the test ahead of them at the Emirates Stadium.

"I think it will be a good experience," he stated. "It'll be a good challenge and it'll be interesting to see what happens, I think.

"We know it's going to be a tough game but if we continuing playing our football and our style of play then you never know what can happen."

Patrick Bamford's key second half contribution ensured that Leeds stayed top of the second tier on goal difference ahead of the Baggies on Wednesday, with United now nine points clear of the play-off race below them.

Harrison isn't taking such an advantage for granted, but equally believes that Leeds have no reason to be scared of any rivals as they look to atone for the sins of last season's late collapse.

"I think, the way we play, we shouldn't really be fearing anybody," he added. "If we do what we can control and continue playing our style of football, we're going to make it difficult for teams and I think other teams know that as well.

"We just have to not get too ahead of ourselves, don't get too complacent in the position we're in and continue to keep working hard and being consistent in what we're doing."
