AS Roma will attempt to make progress on another deep run into the Champions League knockout stages when they renew hostilities with FC Porto at the Estadio do Dragao on Wednesday evening.
Last season's semi-finalists have the advantage heading into the last-16 second-leg tie, with a quick-fire Nicolo Zaniolo double sealing a hard-fought victory in Rome - and inflicting Porto's first defeat in this year's competition - on February 12.
However, a potentially precious away goal from Adrian Lopez means the tie remains finely poised and it could be a matter of who responds best to significant domestic defeats to key rivals over the weekend.
Roma's disappointing Serie A campaign that has piled pressure on manager Eusebio Di Francesco peaked with a 3-0 derby defeat to Lazio on Saturday, while a 2-1 home loss at the hands of Benfica knocked Sergio Conceicao's Porto off top spot in the Primeira Liga.
Reports have even suggested that Di Francesco could be facing the sack if his team fall on the Iberian Peninsula.
On the pitch, the respective returns of Moussa Marega and Kostas Manolas should come as a major boost to each side.
