EA Sports FC 26 is getting a big boost on PC, as detailed in the latest Deep Dive Pitch Notes. The update focuses on giving players smoother performance, more customization and easier-to-use settings, with many of the changes shaped by community feedback.
Controller support has been improved with DualShock 4 users now getting full vibration feedback when connected by USB. DualSense players can take advantage of haptics and adaptive triggers over USB while Bluetooth connections still support basic vibration.
Display settings are more flexible than before allowing players to choose which monitor the game runs on, filter resolutions by aspect ratio and unlock higher frame rate limits beyond 120 FPS, with support for 144, 165 and 240 FPS. There are also new VSync options to sync frame rates to fractions of a monitor’s refresh rate, along with render scaling and dynamic resolution targets to help balance visuals and performance.
The full Pitch Notes go into greater detail covering the display and graphics settings, updated PC requirements and EA’s Javelin Anticheat.

FC 26 will be available worldwide on September 26 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Amazon Luna, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Players can get a head start with early access through the Ultimate Edition or an EA Play trial starting September 19.
