
EA Sports has released FC 25 update #17 to all platforms today with a few adjustments across gameplay, Ultimate Team, Career Mode and some general areas of the game.
One of the more notable tweaks comes on the defensive side, where failed tackles may now take longer to recover from, especially the harder attempts. This change is aimed at preventing those quick, back-to-back tackle attempts that could feel a little too forgiving.
In Ultimate Team, an issue that occasionally blocked players from properly claiming Premium Pass rewards has been fixed. Over in Career Mode, the available list of ICONs in Player Career has been refreshed.
Other updates include some visual and audio polish, with improvements to button prompts, player hairstyles, kits, gear, stadiums and other in-game presentation elements. Check out the full patch notes below.
Gameplay
- Failed tackles can now take longer to transition out of, with hard tackles being the most impacted.
- The intent of this change is to reduce situations where failed tackles instantaneously lead to another tackle attempt.
