Faye Brookes is moving out of the flat she shared with Gareth Gates after he broke off their engagement.
The Coronation Street star, 31, posted a picture of a removal van on her Instagram stories on Thursday night.
It was shared in the middle of a string of motivational quotes, including one that said: "Maybe a happy ending doesn't involve a guy. Maybe it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces."
Faye also revealed that she'd spent the night in a hotel in London.
She posted a picture of herself in a black top and matching skirt, writing: "Lovely little stay."
Her posts come after Mirror Online revealed that Gareth dumped Faye because he was "jealous" of her career .
The singer, 35, wanted to be the "top dog" in their relationship.
A friend of the couple told us: "He was always jealous of Faye's success - we all know that she was branching out on her own and he was feeling a bit left out.
"He's a very jealous person and likes to be the top dog whereas Faye is devastated as she gave up so much for him."
Faye and Gareth got engaged earlier this year after he proposed while on a romantic trip to New York - but called time on the romance seven months later.
The pair met back in 2012 when they starred in the Legally Blonde musical together while Gareth was still married to his ex wife Suzanne Mole.
Kate said back in March that after their brief split in September their "intense" relationship was stronger than ever.
It was reported earlier this week that Gareth demanded Kate give back her £30,000 engagement ring.
Kate has shared a series of quotes on Instagram about "starting over" and another that suggested she was going through a period of "deep grieving" .
