Fatt Pundit in Soho plunders the Chinese/Indian food of the Tangra district of east Kolkata. To start as you should, steamed dumplings — momos — filled with minced beef, leeks and chilli.

After The Lehman Trilogy, rognons de veau at Brasserie Zédel. Perfect, including Emanuel Lehman played by Ben Miles strongly bringing to mind Zédel co-owner Jeremy King.

Let me lead you to The Pheasant Inn near Hungerford, where Pheasant Ale-battered fish and chips with crushed peas sprinkled with artisan malt vinegar brewed at The Old Nuclear Bunker in Cornwall is terrific.
