Favourite Shawlands brunch spot introduces salt and chilli fry up

One of Shawlands' most popular brunch spots has introduced a gamechanging new dish - a salt and chilli fry up.

Crafty chefs at Brooklyn Cafe, on Minard Road, are renowned for serving up fantastic breakfast dishes to hungry southsiders, but they may have just taken things to a whole new level.

That's because they've teased their new 'salt and chilli breakfast' on Facebook, commenting: "So we just made a salt and chilli breakfast....

"Wow, just wow.

"Bacon, black pudding, tottie scone, square sausage, link sausage, mushrooms.

"All in a traditional salt and chilli batter and seasoning."

And, the team at Brooklyn are putting their new creation out to the public for you to decide whether it features on their specials board.

As we speak, they're also working on a vegan version to bring to the table too.

If you want to volunteer to take on the taste test, you'll need to be available tomorrow or Tuesday.

We think this one might be worth skipping work for - let us know what you think, Glasgow!
