Fauldhouse United have become the latest West Lothian side to declare their intention to join senior football.
The Park View outfit announced yesterday that they have applied to join the East of Scotland Football League in time for the start of next season.
Blackburn United, Broxburn Athletic and Linlithgow Rose are all in their third season in the EoS while a number of United's current Junior rivals have announced that they have applied.
Bathgate Thistle, Livingston United, Pumpherston, West Calder United and Whitburn could all make the move along with the Hoose, while Harthill Royal have applied to join the West of Scotland League.
Last week, the East Region declared the 2020/21 season null and void, meaning the next time United take to the pitch they are likely to be doing so as a senior club.
A club statement read: "Fauldhouse United would like to announce that they have applied for membership of the East of Scotland Football League for the season 2021-22.
"We as a club feel the time is right to join the Senior ranks of the Pyramid system.
"We look forward to meeting old and making new friends in this exciting time.
"We would also like to thank the ERSJFA for all their effort and support over the years."
