A new artisan Italian deli is preparing to open on Byres Road.
In April, Glasgow Live revealed fatto a mano would soon be arriving in Glasgow's west end. And now it's been confirmed the likes of fresh, mouthwatering egg pastas and Roman style pizzas will be served up at 180 Byres Road, this summer.
Behind the venture is chef John Traynor, who will also be dishing up delicious-sounding sandwiches, coffee and ice cream to westenders from August this year.
The team at the new food spot told us: "Fatto a mano is hoping to open early August 2021, located in 180 Byres Road in the old Rodgers Butchers shop - Rogers Butchers is moving just along the street.
"Chef John Traynor will be opening The artisan deli will pride itself on fresh handmade produce including delicious egg pastas and Roman style pizzas as well as freshly prepared sandwiches, coffee and ice cream."
Fatto a mano has been teasing Glaswegians with photos of incredible Italian dishes they can soon expect to devour, with pictures showing preparation for nduja pasta, creamy burrata, fluffy focaccias and hand made sun-dried tomato and burrata ravioli, as well as those beautiful Roman pizzas.
