A man was left seriously injured after an attack during what is reported to be his daughter's wedding in Aberdeen .
Emergency services were called to the Marriott Hotel in Dyce just before 11pm on Saturday after the man sustained a head injury.
A source told the Record that the injured man was the father of the bride, and was at the hotel for her wedding in the Pitmedden Suite - however this has not been confirmed.

The man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where medical staff describe his condition as serious.
Police Scotland's Sergeant Rory Campbell said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing into the circumstances surrounding how this man came to be injured - further information will be issued in due course if necessary.
"I would like to thank all those who have helped with our enquiries so far and to staff at the hotel for their assistance."
