EastEnders fans were stunned when it was confirmed Sharon Mitchell would discover she’s pregnant, after cheating on husband Phil Mitchell with Keanu Taylor.
But it appears the identity of the real father may have been let slip, despite predictions it would be a ‘who’s the daddy’ storyline.
Keanu’s reunion with girlfriend Louise Mitchell, Sharon's stepdaughter, dropped the bombshell that she was still pregnant, after initially claiming to had had a termination.
Now, it’s been revealed to viewers that Sharon is also pregnant, leaving their affair secret under threat.
Speaking on This Morning on Tuesday, soap queen Sharon Marshall discussed the huge storyline.
But while teasing Phil’s potential reaction to finding out about the affair, she appeared to confirm the baby’s father.
Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, she referred to Sharon as being pregnant with Keanu’s baby.
While viewers will be left in the dark over whether Phil or Keanu is the baby’s dad, viewers are now convinced the truth is out, while it could have simply been an assumption.
There’s speculation the affair could come out very soon, after new spoilers revealed Keanu would be kidnapped.
A recent trailer showed him tied to a chair in a crate, with him heard shouting out for Phil.
Next week, the character will decide to confess all to Louise and Phil once he gets wind of Sharon’s pregnancy.
Phil will believe the baby is his, unsuspecting his wife has had an affair, but all could be about to be revealed.
Sharon attempts to stop Keanu confessing, but is stopped in her tracks by Keanu’s mum Karen - while it’s not yet known if Phil is behind Keanu’s kidnapping.
