RAIPUR: A man committed suicide after allegedly killing his two minor children in Dharsiwa block of Raipur district in Chhattisgarh. Police said that the incident took place in Deori village under Dharsiwa police station limits three-four days back.
Rameshwar Sahu, 30, allegedly killed his 9-years-old son Amit and 6-years-old daughter Ragini, and then committed suicide by consuming pesticide. The decomposed bodies were sent for the post mortem examination on Sunday. The report that came on Monday revealed that the children were also poisoned, said Dharsiwa police on Monday.
Earlier, the neighbours had informed the police of the stench coming from the house of Rameshwar who was staying with his children. Rameshwar's wife was not staying with them for more than a year.
